The 2024 edition of the Brownsburg-Chatham Marché Festif, held annually at the Municipal Campground, attracted more than 3,600 attendees, setting a new record for the event.
The market featured nearly 60 vendors offering a variety of local crafts, products, and artistic creations. Set against the winter backdrop of snow-covered campsites along the Ottawa River, the event provided a festive atmosphere for visitors of all ages.
Attendees were able to explore the market and enjoy the seasonal offerings while taking in the holiday decorations and lights.
The event also provided entertainment with live music by La Grand-Messe – Hommage au Cowboys Fringants, as well as the presence of carolers, Santa and Mrs. Claus. These elements contributed to the event’s warm and welcoming vibe, despite the cold weather.
Brownsburg-Chatham Mayor Kévin Maurice expressed pride in the growing success of the market, noting the community’s involvement. “I am proud to see that the Marché Festif has become a must-see event in our region,” he told The Review.
“I am deeply touched by the many collaborations that made this event possible and that demonstrate our community’s commitment.”
The popularity of the Marché Festif has prompted organizers to begin preparations for the 2025 event, scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025. Due to the event’s growing demand, individuals interested in attending are encouraged to save the date.
Additionally, organizers will soon release a survey on the Brownsburg-Chatham website to gather feedback from attendees to improve future editions of the market.
The Brownsburg-Chatham Municipal Campground, which hosts the event, offers a variety of services and amenities to visitors year-round.
