In a press release, the Town of Cobourg (Ontario, Canada) announced that the Victoria Park Campground online reservation for the 2023 booking season would become available on December 5.
Once the online reservation opens, the request form will allow up to four reservation requests, including campsite preferences.
According to its website, Victoria Park campground features washrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and a dumping station. All transient trailer sites have electricity and water; some include sewer hookups.
The campground is located at 138 Division Street in Cobourg, down by the waterfront.
Just a few steps away from Downtown Cobourg, campers and visitors can enjoy boutique shopping, an outdoor pool, and the Cobourg Marina.
Fun activities nearby include jumping on the Heritage Boardwalk and taking a stroll at the beach and waterfront.
The release indicated that online reservation request forms would be dated, time-stamped, and processed by staff in chronological order.
The town reminded campers to include a contact number in order for staff to call to complete their reservation.
As per the release, Victoria Park Campground staff will reach out to interested campers to create the reservation and collect the administration fee. If the requested reservation is not available, staff will review the notes section of the submitted form and offer the second choice campsite, and an e-mail will be sent to confirm the reservation.
According to the Town of Cobourg, Ontario, Victoria Park Campground hosts 74 trailer camping sites and five tenting sites. Each season, Victoria Park Campground hosts approximately 3,600 transient guest stays.
