Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show to Push Through with Strict Health Protocols

The Canadian RV Association announced that the Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show is ready to take off on March 3-6, with strict COVID-19 protocols.

According to a report, Premier Ford and the Provincial Government of Ontario announced plans to eliminate certain health and safety measures effective January 31. These include bars, cinemas, restaurants, non-spectator sports areas, and recreational fitness facilities such as gyms and events and meetings spaces.

In the announcement, the Ontario government also said that it would follow a cautious method of gradually easing COVID-19 restrictions, with an interval of 21 days after each step.

They also said that the capacity limit for indoor public areas where proof for vaccinations is required—including meeting and event venues— can go back to 100% capacity starting February 21, two weeks before the Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show schedule.

In the release, CRVA highlighted that the health and safety of exhibitors, attendees, and staff would continue to be their utmost priority.

In collaboration with Ontario Health and The International Centre, the Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show have come up with the following COVID guidelines for this year’s show, a policy that staff, attendees, and exhibitors must follow. Find the policy on www.thebigrvshow.ca.

CRVA also mentioned that the past two years have been unbelievably difficult for everyone. They are looking at this year’s Toronto Spring Camping and RV Show as a chance to serve as a gigantic step moving forward to getting back to some sense of normality for camping and outdoor enthusiasts.

Given The Year of the RV in 2021 and the higher numbers of retail sales that the RV industry has faced, inventory issues have led to a few of the usual Big RV Show exhibitors skipping this year’s show.

However, CRVA assures that the biggest Ontario RV dealers are back and will show their usual displays, which showcase RVs of all models and at any price.

Without The Great Canadian RV Parts and Accessories Store, they are thrilled to unveil the brand new Campers Marketplace in Hall 2, where booth exhibitors will be situated this year.

To keep smaller areas from being enclosed, speakers and seminars have relocated to the Go RVing Canada Activity Zone Big Stage in Hall 2, where draws, giveaways, and activities for everyone of all generations are all in one spot.
