Reservations for campground, parking, and boat access at several Ontario National Parks are now open for the 2025 season.
Visitors can book accommodations at Cyprus Lake campgrounds, backcountry sites in Bruce Peninsula National Park, and Flowerpot Island campground in Fathom Five National Marine Park.
Additionally, campgrounds in Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Point Pelee National Park, Pukaskwa National Park, Thousand Islands National Park, and more are available for reservation.
For those planning a road trip or boat trip, Parks Canada encourages visitors to book campgrounds along the Rideau Canal National Historic Site and Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site.
Reservations are also required for parking at popular sites like Grotto and Halfway Dump in Bruce Peninsula National Park, with Grotto parking in high demand. Visitors should note that Grotto parking is only available for reservation between May 1 and October 31, and Halfway Dump parking can be reserved from June 16 to September 1.
For boat access to the boat-only accessible Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Parks Canada operates the Day Tripper boat taxi service, which is available for reservations between May 16 and October 1.
Private boat taxis are also available but can cost upwards of $250 per round trip.
Reservations can be made online 24/7 at reservation.pc.gc.ca. With the high volume of visitors expected during long weekends, Parks Canada recommends securing reservations early to ensure access to these popular destinations.
