Steinbach Trailers & RV Expands Reach with Acquisition of Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre

Steinbach Trailers & RV has expanded its presence in Manitoba with the acquisition of Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre in Brandon, one of the province’s recreational vehicle dealerships. The purchase aligns with Steinbach Trailers’ strategy to extend its reach into western Manitoba, enhancing service coverage for RV enthusiasts across the region.

Richard Kroeker, a representative from Steinbach Trailers & RV, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, viewing it as an opportunity to strengthen the company’s position in the province. With Pik-A-Dilly now under its ownership, the dealership can extend its commitment to quality service and diverse inventory to a broader customer base.

“We approached Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre about a year ago. It’s a third-generation family business and they didn’t really know if they wanted to sell,” Kroeker said, as reported by Steinbach Online.

The dealership also boasts a sizable inventory, primarily positioned behind its recognizable red building. Kroeker emphasized that customers often find what they need among the company’s wide range of RVs, fifth wheels, and utility trailers.

The acquisition has been a long-considered move, as Kroeker noted that discussions with Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre began roughly a year ago. Pik-A-Dilly was a third-generation family business.

In May of this year, Pik-A-Dilly signaled its readiness to proceed with the sale, turning initial discussions into a concrete agreement. According to Kroeker, this step has enabled Steinbach Trailers to assume ownership of a dealership recognized across western Manitoba, where Pik-A-Dilly’s long-standing reputation precedes it.

The acquisition also brings notable advantages to Steinbach Trailers’ existing clients in southeastern Manitoba. Beyond cost efficiencies, the expanded Steinbach Trailers network will allow the dealership to support RV owners across Manitoba more effectively. Kroeker highlighted that customers can now access services from multiple points in the province, including the western region and areas in northwestern Ontario.

Inventory expansion is another significant benefit of the acquisition. With Pik-A-Dilly’s inclusion, Steinbach Trailers has new product lines, including the Arctic, Alpha, and Cherokee brands, alongside existing offerings like Sure-Trac. The Brandon location will also carry Dutchmen and Kodiak models.
