New Owner Brings Fresh Upgrades to Woodridge Campground

Randy Bourrier, the new owner of Manitoba’s (Canada) Woodridge Campground, has been hard at work since taking over the property in late October 2022. With a lifelong connection to the area and a passion for providing a fun, family-oriented camping experience, Bourrier has already made significant upgrades to the campground.

According to a Steinbach Online report, Bourrier has renovated the washrooms and showers, created a new campground map, and established a presence on social media and the web. He has even more improvements planned for the future, including landscaping, the addition of a pool or pond, themed weekends, live music, warm food options, a pressure washing station, and guided ATV tours through the scenic trails of Woodridge.

Bourrier has a special connection with Woodridge, where he spent weekends with his grandparents and held several jobs over the years, including working on the green team and being a hunting guide. He has gotten to know the community well and is thrilled to be a part of it as the new owner of the Woodridge Campground.

The Woodridge area offers abundant outdoor recreation opportunities, including ATV and snowmobile trails and wild berries to pick. Bourrier wants to ensure that everyone can experience the area’s beauty and has made it his goal to make the Woodridge Campground a fun, family-oriented place for visitors to enjoy their stay.

This is not just a story about one private campground owner in Canada but a common trend among many private campground owners and operators in the country. Many are investing in upgrades and renovations to provide a better experience for campers and to keep up with the changing demands and expectations of the camping market.

Woodridge Campground is under new ownership with a renewed focus on providing a fun and family-friendly camping experience. With the new renovations and future improvements planned, it is sure to become a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike.

According to its website, the Woodridge Campground is located on the Western Border of the Sandilands Provincial Forest, approximately 50 km southeast of Steinbach.

It offers numerous groomed snowmobile trails in the winter and ATV trails in the summer, which are connected to the Eastman ATV club’s 140 km trail system. Visitors can go quadding, walking, trail running, X-Country skiing, and sledding on the trails.

The campground has 56 sites, featuring shaded and sunny RV sites, tent sites, cabin rentals, and full hookups with power, water, and septic.
