Two Scenic B.C. Resorts Up for Sale

Two magnificent resort properties in British Columbia, Canada, with a hotel, ski runs and lifts, lakefront cabins, a campground, and a pub, are up for sale, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for interested buyers.

As per a report, the Powder King Ski Resort and its sister property, the Azouzetta Lake Resort, have been listed for CA$8,250,000 by Colliers – a price tag lower than some Vancouver tear-downs.

Nestled at the base of Pine Pass in Northeastern B.C., the two resorts are remotely situated, providing a serene getaway for visitors. The Powder King Ski Resort is 67 kilometers east of Mackenzie and 195 kilometers north of Prince George, making it an ideal destination for ski enthusiasts seeking a peaceful escape.

The ski resort has received accolades as Canada’s top-rated destination for snow, boasting an impressive 12 meters of average snowfall each winter. With 364 hectares of skiable terrain, 37 runs, and three lifts, Powder King offers a thrilling experience for winter sports lovers.

On-site accommodations include a 50-room hotel, two staff cabins, and a lodge with a licensed pub and a cafeteria. The resort’s master plan outlines a three-phase development strategy, encompassing land acquisitions, real estate development, commercial development, additional ski runs, lifts, and various summer recreational activities.

Just six kilometers from the ski resort lies the picturesque Azouzetta Lake Resort on the pristine 340-acre Azouzetta Lake. This idyllic location offers a range of rustic, fully-equipped A-frame cabins, RV sites, and a campground. A manager’s accommodation is also available on-site.

Guests at Azouzetta Lake Resort can indulge in various recreational activities such as kayaking, canoeing, boating, mountain biking, and hiking. The lake is also home to rainbow trout and diverse wildlife, making it a nature lover’s paradise.

Adding convenience for visitors, the property houses a gas station, a convenience store, and Café 97 – a restaurant open seven days a week, all year round.

The sale of these two picturesque resort properties presents an extraordinary opportunity for investors looking to own a piece of British Columbia’s natural beauty while providing a platform for future growth and development in the region.
