The Cultus Lake Park Board in British Columbia (Canada) finalized a five-year agreement with Frontline Integrated Security to provide security patrols of Cultus Lake and Sunnyside Campground, according to a Fraser Valley Today report.
The need for a new security service provider was identified as the existing contract neared its end, prompting the park board staff to issue a 71-page request for proposals (RFP) through B.C. Bid and the Cultus Lake Park website.
The bidding process attracted 11 proposals from various security firms. After a thorough evaluation of the bids, staff narrowed down the selection to two finalists based on their ability to meet the specified requirements.
Having previously worked within the park in different capacities, including bylaw enforcement, the director of operations at Frontline Integrated Security showed an understanding of the park’s regulations and operational needs.
Frontline Integrated Security was chosen over the other contenders, promising a cost savings of CA$234,705.54 throughout the five-year agreement.
