India’s Uttarakhand to Develop Caravan Park in the State’s Remote Tourism Destinations

The Uttarakhand tourism department in India will create a caravan park instead of creating tourist accommodation in the remote tourist areas in the state.

Tourists will stay in caravans at these tourist spots surrounded by natural beauty, according to a report.

Tourists who can’t afford the caravan can stay in luxurious tents. The place will include a restaurant, parking, electricity, and water facilities will be provided for the tourists. The facility can also be moved to different locations.

There are numerous tourist spots with natural beauty within the remote Kumaon-Garhwal region in the state. However, the department of tourism isn’t in a position to construct tourism facilities in these regions through the expenditure of millions of rupees.

As an alternative, the tourism department has decided to build a Caravan Park. They will develop caravans, restaurants, parking, electricity, and water facilities at these places.

Luxury tents will be set up for economy class tourists. When they visit, visitors will cab relax and enjoy the experience by setting up tents. If the number of visitors staying in these locations isn’t expected, then the tents can be relocated elsewhere.

In the event of the non-operation of tourist accommodation houses built by spending crores of rupees running them remains a challenge for the tourism department. Keeping this in mind, the tourism department has decided to develop Caravan Park. Tourism Development Council has started such a caravan park in Garhi Cantt of Dehradun.

These facilities will have LCD, satellite TV, GPRS, navigation system, washroom, pantry, coffee maker, microwave, etc., available to the tourists in the caravan. Sitting in it, you will be able to feel like traveling at home.

Through caravan, tourists can make Uttarakhand’s trip memorable in remote areas, forests, and along the banks of rivers. Due to the accommodation, and food facilities in the caravan, tourists will not have to book the hotel separately.

The caravan park in Uttarakhand will have green amenities like solar panels and composting toilets. The tourism department may also offer guided nature walks and adrenaline-pumping activities for an enhanced experience. Sounds like a chill mix of nature and adventure!
