Magenic Launches Portable Thermoelectric Pellet Heater for Off-Grid Camping and RV Use

Technology manufacturer Magenic LLC launched a Kickstarter campaign for CAMPel9, a portable pellet heater designed to supply forced-air heating for camping, camper vans, travel trailers, RVs, cabins, and off-grid environments.

The system uses pellet fuel as its heat source and incorporates thermoelectric technology to convert operational heat into electricity.

The generated electricity powers internal systems, including air circulation, heat exchange, and an automatic pellet feeder, eliminating the need for an external electrical source, according to a press release.

Designed strictly as a forced-air heater rather than a cooking stove, the unit transfers heated air into living areas while directing combustion exhaust outside through an exhaust duct.

The internal hopper holds approximately six kilograms of pellets to support extended operating times, with an optional extended hopper configuration also planned for future development.

“We developed CAMPel9 because we wanted to solve a problem that had remained difficult to address: creating a compact pellet heater that could generate the electricity needed for its own operation,” Magenic LLC stated.

The South Korea-based company is offering early-bird pricing to backers on Kickstarter during the campaign as it prepares for production.
