Voting is underway for the RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) 2027 Board of Directors election, with seven candidates competing for three open seats representing RV manufacturers, park model RVs and suppliers.
Eligible member companies began casting ballots Aug. 24, with voting scheduled to close Sept. 14 and election results to be shared with candidates Sept. 15.
Each eligible member company’s official representative is responsible for submitting the company’s online ballot.
Association representatives were contacted by email with instructions for voting. Associate and Manufacturer Representatives do not have voting privileges under the association’s bylaws.
The three available seats include one RV manufacturer seat, one park model RV seat and one supplier seat. Two candidates are seeking the manufacturer position: Ashley Bontrager Lehman of Ember Recreational Vehicles Inc. and Greg Wallman of Space Craft MFG.
John Tuyo of Champion Homes and Trevor Kropf of Kropf Industries Inc. are competing for the park model RV seat.
The supplier seat has three candidates: Mike Cheney of Valto Engineered Materials, Mark Howlett of Truma North America and Heather Jenks of Genesis Products.
The Board of Directors serves as the highest-level authority in the association’s organizational structure and is responsible for setting and overseeing strategy and policies across areas including standards, marketing, government affairs, industry education, statistical data and association finances.
The election will determine board members who will serve three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2027. The voting timeline provides eligible member companies with a defined period to select representatives for the three positions.
The election comes as the association prepares to seat three new directors for the upcoming term. The results are scheduled to be communicated to candidates one day after voting closes, on Sept. 15.
