Global Camping Community to Gather in Zhenfeng County for 2026 F.I.C.C. Rally

An international camping event organized by the Fédération Internationale de Camping, Caravanning et Autocaravanning (F.I.C.C.) is scheduled to take place in China from September 18 to 26, 2026, bringing together participants from across the global camping and caravanning community.

The rally will be held in Zhenfeng County, located in Guizhou Province, an area recognized for its natural landscapes and cultural heritage.

The event is being organized by the China RV Camping Association (CRVC) with support from local public authorities and partner organizations.

According to F.I.C.C. President João Alves Pereira, “We are looking forward to this F.I.C.C. Rally in China and hope to see many campers from all over the world there again to celebrate a wonderful festival of friendship together.”

The rally site is based at the Sancha River Camp Site within the Zhenfeng Sanchahe Tourist Scenic Area, a national 4A-level attraction. The site includes infrastructure designed for camping and outdoor recreation, with facilities that support RVs, tents, and other accommodation formats.

The surrounding area includes lakes, rivers, forests, and hilly terrain, providing a setting for outdoor activities and organized excursions.

Participation fees have been set at €150 per adult, €70 for teenagers aged 12 to 17, and free for children under 12. Optional excursions, priced at €80 per person, will offer access to several regional attractions, including Huangguoshu Waterfall, Beipanjiang Grand Canyon, and the Xingyi Wanfenglin Scenic Area.

A post-rally tour from €180 per person will extend travel opportunities to destinations such as Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, Rongjiang, and Xijiang.

The rally program will include entertainment and cultural experiences, alongside opportunities to explore local heritage. The region’s Bouyei ethnic culture, including its recognized “March Third” festival traditions, is expected to be part of the broader visitor experience through exhibitions and interactive activities.

For business owners in the outdoor hospitality and RV sectors, the event reflects continued growth in international camping tourism and highlights China’s investment in large-scale camping infrastructure.

The integration of camping facilities with cultural tourism, wellness offerings, and organized excursions demonstrates a model that operators in other markets may evaluate for diversification and guest engagement.

The development of multi-use camping resorts, combining accommodation, recreation, and cultural programming, may also provide insights into evolving consumer expectations in the global outdoor hospitality industry.

The rally’s location is accessible via Longdongbao Airport and Xingyi Airport, supporting international and domestic travel connections. Organizers anticipate participation from a wide range of countries, reinforcing the role of such events in fostering cross-border tourism and industry collaboration.
