Ryan Elias, president and general manager of Leisure Travel Vans/Triple E RV, has been elected chair of the RV Industry Association (RVIA) Board of Directors during a meeting held earlier this month at the RV Leadership Conference.
Elias assumes the role following his service as vice chair of the board and chair of the Emerging Leaders Coalition, positioning him to lead the association’s strategic direction alongside its executive leadership and board members.
The leadership transition comes as the association continues efforts to promote and protect the recreational vehicle industry, with board leadership playing a central role in guiding those initiatives. Elias’ appointment places him at the forefront of those efforts moving forward.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on March 26, Mary Pouliot, the outgoing chair, acknowledged the transition and expressed confidence in the new leadership.
“It’s important work, and it’s in very good hands with Ryan and the rest of the Board,” Pouliot said. She added that serving as chair and working with industry leaders over the past 20 years had been “an absolute privilege.”
Craig Kirby, president and CEO of RVIA, also recognized Pouliot’s tenure and highlighted the significance of the leadership change.
“We want to thank Mary Pouliot for her outstanding leadership not only of the Board of Directors but the leadership and guidance she has provided to the RV industry for more than 20 years,” Kirby said.
He added that the association is “in proven and capable hands” under Elias’ leadership.
Alongside the appointment of Elias, the board elected additional officers to the Executive Committee. Brett Randall of Aliner was named vice chair, while Jeff Rodino of Patrick Industries was elected treasurer. Coley Brady was newly appointed as secretary.
Kevin McArt will continue serving on the Executive Committee in the role of immediate past chair, providing continuity within the leadership structure.
Kirby also remains part of the Executive Committee in his capacity as president and CEO.
The updated leadership team is expected to support the association’s ongoing initiatives and governance as it represents stakeholders across the RV industry.
