The reservation process for all Grand Teton National Park and John D. Rockefeller Memorial Parkway campsites will be processed through the Recreation.gov booking system beginning the summer of 2022.
Teton park campgrounds are no longer available for reservations through local campground call centers or websites.
“Visitors are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and reserve early,” the park’s press release stated.
A few campgrounds moved online for reservations for the summer this year. The Colter Bay RV Park and Tent Village and the Headwaters Campground and RV Park, previously bookable through the Grand Teton Lodge Company, are now moving to Recreation.gov.
The locations mentioned along with Colter Bay, Gros Ventre, Jenny Lake, Lizard Creek, and Signal Mountain campgrounds will be open for booking on a rolling basis of six months.
In a press release, the park highlighted that a limited number of sites will be held back at the Colter Bay and Gros Ventre campgrounds for reservations on a 14-day rolling basis, but “reservations are expected to fill quickly,” the statement ended.
