On Friday, September 3, Cross Roads RV Park at 113 W 4th Street will host a grand opening, a report said.
To celebrate the opening of this local business, the public is invited to enjoy burgers, hot dogs, drinks, and ice cream from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The new RV park offers electricity, sewer, water hookups at each site. You will find the entrance on Idaho Street when you travel north towards Wind River Canyon.
Mike Norwood, a local builder, and Tim Thompson, from Confidence Builders, collaborated on this venture when they were preparing to build houses. Grace, Mike’s spouse, was also involved.
Cross Roads RV Park is located on the site of the former school building. Tim and Mike made an easy decision to open Cross Roads RV Park.
Although it was a temporary arrangement for them while they wait for house prices to drop, the couple has big plans to continue building the amenities.
Grace said they are planning to add a laundry area, bathrooms, showers, and a place for small shops to sell their goods to the existing 30 spaces.
They currently only offer sites for RVs and campers. At this point, there is no camping. The grand opening special starts at $45 per night.
