Year-round reservations for camping are now accessible in more than 20 Wisconsin state parks and forests. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) made the announcement on Monday.

Instead of using self-registration for envelopes, campers can reserve their campsite through the DNR’s camping reservation page as well as by calling 1-888-WIPARK.

Campers will also be able to reserve a campsite the same day of their arrival by making reservations online before leaving home or by calling from any phone once at the property.

Reservation service representatives are available online or via phone, seven days per week, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. November 1 through April 30 and 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. on May 1 to October 31.

While making your reservation, the DNR says to look for information on property conditions; not all campsites or campground roads are plowed in the winter.
