If you are a fan of spooky things and are interested in helping your local community, then River’s Edge Campground in Stevens Point, Wisconsin has something for you this Halloween season.

According to a report, the campground will host this year’s Campground of Terrors event on Friday. The campsite will transform into a terrifying setting with frightening walking trails.

The individuals in charge of scaring guests will comprise employees and community groups raising funds for their organizations.

“We just think it’s very important to be giving back to the community. So this is something that we love. We love having people here in the off-season and we love building and doing fun things and this is our way of giving back,” said Sarah Krause, River’s Edge Campground General Manager.

Groups will get $250 per day and must extend at least six volunteers. Information on how to sign up to volunteer or attend is available here.
