Steamboat Rock State Park, a campground park covering 5,043 acres with 50,000 feet freshwater shoreline at Banks Lake‘s north end. It also features a columnar basaltic rock that covers 600 acres. Tall poplars provide wind protection for three campground areas as well as a large day-use area.
Washington State Parks has posted information about the site, and they are accepting reservations until October 31st. This campsite is being developed so you could be among the first to camp there.
