“We keep it simple out here, but I think that the extra layers of convenience make this place really desirable for families,” she said. “They can escape into nature and then go back to their regular life very quickly and easily.”

Visitors can rent kayaks or purchase tubes. However, transportation back to thearea is not available. The good news is that on the Guadalupe is near many river outfitters offering shuttle services. River access is offered through a short walk down a known as “the tunnel of trees.”
Upon reaching the river, visitors—both young and old—can play or relax on the natural shelf that provides a shallow area.
