White Thorn Lodge in Pennsylvania‘s South Beaver township hosts one of the largest nude volleyball tournaments in North America.

According to a report, there will be teams from all over the country serving and volleying from the sand volleyball courts from Sept. 11-12 at South Beaver Township’s “Super 50”, a tournament that celebrates its half-century.

Events start Labor Day weekend at 10 a.m. Saturday with an informal co-ed tournament of sand volleyball.

“It’s open to the public, and you must bring your driver’s license and register at our gate,” Louise, White Thorn’s vice-president, stated. We have special pricing for this event. A 10-day (10 a.m. Friday through noon Sept. 13), costs $200, plus camping fees. Or, a 4-day event for $75 (11 a.m. September 9 to 12 noon Sept. 13). We will close the season at noon on Sept. 13.”

Louise stated, “We have many things planned starting this weekend. For our 10-day Nakation, we will be giving away swag bags to the first 1000 visitors. There will be a raffle for a basket with many fun prizes. The weekend Superbowl (of Volleyball) will have some exciting prizes. We are sorry that not many of our Canadian friends can attend, but we expect a huge turnout.”
