This afternoon, an RV caught fire at a Medford junkyard near North Central Avenue, a report said.

One local business owner noticed a lot of smoke in his area and dialed 911. Medford Fire and Company responded quickly to the call. They were able to extinguish it in approximately 10 minutes. Crew members on the scene stated that the oil, tires, and other debris caused the fire to spread rapidly but in a small area.

It is not clear what caused the fire at this moment, but it is the second fire in this junkyard area in the past month.
