Oregon’s Grants Pass Urban Area Planning Commission has approved a proposal for a 120-space RV park.
The park will be located on NE Greenfield Road, north of I-5, as per a report.
The developer shared that they wish to integrate nearly all the historic structures on the site and also build new facilities. The plan is to build an outdoor pool and storage units, as well as pickleball courts and a wine bar.
“It definitely would be a new commercial business in this section of town. As part of the approval, they’ll be in improving the street frontage on Greenfield Road as well as improving some area sewer systems,” said Ryan Nolan, interim principal planner.
Nolan anticipates work to be completed within a year unless developers request an extension of six months.
The RV park received verbal approval last week. The full written approval is scheduled for February 9.
