A proposal to build a campground on the Island at North Dakota‘s Jamestown Reservoir was brought to the Stutsman County Park Board on Tuesday, a report said.
The applicant, Daren Peterka from Interstate Engineering, presented an initial design for the campground. He also included three price breakdowns of things that need to be done in order to achieve it.
The construction requires a bridge replacement which would utilize a box culvert. Peterka said that it would be cheaper than building a bridge as it would elevate the roadway to a similar height.
The final cost is an overlay of asphalt in order to repair the bridge.
There was no final decision taken.
