The Buffalo County Fairgrounds (Nebraska) hosted the RV and Boat Show last weekend.
The final day of the show concluded on Sunday afternoon. The show featured recreation products ranging from kayaks to motorhomes and RVs.
There was, however, an apparent absence of boats during the event. Event organizers claim that this resulted from supply chain issues that have afflicted numerous industries over the last few years and months.
“Boat dealers have really been affected. We don’t even have a boat dealer this year cause they can’t even show a pontoon because those raw materials are very hard, and they have and pick up down the line on that,” event organizer Jason Gerber said.
Gerber added that boats made from plastic, such as kayaks, were not as affected.
