Panel members will discuss allowing RV spaces at Rodeo Road mobile home parks during the 5:30 pm meeting in the City Council chamber, located at 211 W. Third St, a report said.
They will also continue to review North Platte’s Zoning Regulations, with a focus on R-3 and R-4 residential areas. The City Council will receive a complete package of updates in the future.
Since March’s unveiling of their project, Sustainable Beef leaders stated that they will ask the city for a retired sewer lagoon to be sold and TIF assistance to construct the site.
At that time, they stated that they expected to start work on their project by Sept. 1. Sustainable Beef was granted a pair of $500,000 planning loans by the Quality Growth Fund, and the NorthWestern Energy Economic Development Fund.
Judy Clark, Planning Administrator, stated last week that project leaders were not yet ready to submit the redevelopment agreement.
MRN Properties LLC, Tuesday’s only action item, is seeking a conditional permit to allow four RV spaces in its mobile-home park at the 4000 block Rodeo Road.
Before recommending approval to the City Council, the Planning Commission will hold an open hearing.
