Kyle Wilkens, the rural development state director, announced that over $34 million in funding was given to rural Missouri to help local businesses, provide better employment opportunities, and improve its economy.
One of the projects in the area that will benefit from the funding is Ogden Industries, LLC.
According to a report, the company received an $865,000 loan to refinance its purchase of I-49 RV Park in Archie, Missouri, and make improvements to the park.
I-49 RV Park lies 30 miles away from Missouri’s Kansas City metro area and can be seen from Highway 49.
It has 50 full-service sites as well as a guest lodge.
The plans call for the addition of five rental cottages, asphalt pavement for all roads, a dog park, playground, storm shelters, solar arrays to generate power, and an extensive landscape throughout the property.
