RV Crashes After Attempting To Cross Under Train Trestle In Missouri

A recreational vehicle crashed into a railroad crossing close to Racine in the southwest region of Missouri on Monday afternoon, a report said.

It was in the vicinity of the Seneca Rural District’s central station at Racine. Firefighters were quick to respond, bringing both male and female passengers assistance.

The driver Sherman Ferguson, 83, and the passenger Elaine Ferguson, 93, from Somers, Montana, both suffered moderate injuries and were transported to the local hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts.

The clearance of the trestle is 9’9″, while the RV was a 13-foot tall 2013 Diplomat.
