It’s time to start planning your summer camping schedule as reservations at Sebago Lake State Park (Maine) open Tuesday at 9 a.m., while reservations for camping at all the other Maine State Park campgrounds open at 9 a.m, Friday.
Camping reservations can be made online or by calling the camping reservation call center at 800-332-1501 from a Maine area code or 207-624-9950.
Reservations for group campsites and picnic shelters in all parks will also open on Wednesday. These reservations can only be done via phone and should be made directly with the specific parks.
Last year, visitor attendance at Maine State Parks set an all-time high record with over 3.3 million visitors. It was up by 8% from prior records of just 3 million set in 2020. Three of the past four years have seen record-breaking visits to the state’s twelve State Park campgrounds and 48 State Parks and historic sites.

Our beautiful State Parks are go-to destinations for Maine residents and visitors as they look to find accessible and welcoming outdoor recreation opportunities,” said Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry commissioner Amanda Beal.
