Storm Lake Sunrise Campground (Iowa) is opening its online reservation system on February 8.
According to a report, reservations must be made online at www.sunrisecampgrounds.com. This includes stays for the three most popular camping weekends of the year, such as Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day.
Located on the shores of the state of Iowa’s fourth-largest natural lake, Storm Lake Sunrise Campground facilities include restrooms and showers (including handicapped-accessible facilities).
The Sunrise campground also has ice and wood to help campers spend time camping without running out of supplies.
Sunrise Campground has activities for the whole family within walking distance of each campsite. Everything from playground equipment to large group picnic shelters awaits campers.
You can enjoy a quick stroll to the lakeshore for some walleye fishing or some sandcastle fun on the beach.
The campground offers sand volleyball, golf, mini-golf, and swimming at Kings Pointe Water Park for the entire family.
If you’re interested in more offshore activities, you may bring your boat and skis along for some water skiing adventures.
The rates for the 2022 camping season include $30 for Class A, $28 for Class C, $25 for Class E, $20 for Class F, and $12 for Class G.
