The Ottumwa Park Campground (Iowa) is opening for the season next Friday, April 1, at 8 a.m.
According to its website, Ottumwa Park Campground is situated amidst 340 acres of green space and lagoons.
The Ottumwa campgrounds provide the ideal spot for enjoying the outdoors with picnic tables, shelters, fireplaces, tennis courts, playground equipment, and more. Nearby is the Des Moines River and adjacent Wapello County Trails.
Camping is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted. There are no tents allowed within the RV Section of the campground.
Campers have access to the shower house with restrooms and a dumping station. WiFi is also available.
