Lichtsinn RV claims it will double the size of its existing facility in Forest City, a report said.
The company’s expansion will include an indoor RV showroom, fixed operations improvements, including additional service bays, and a large indoor parts warehouse.
It also promises increased parts retail space. Lichtsinn RV also plans to expand the camping areas east of the dealership.
Heidi Thompson, Lichtsinn RV General Manager, says that the RV lifestyle is growing in popularity means that “our team is committed to making infrastructure investments to ensure our guests have a great experience.”
“The decision to expand this facility was directly influenced by our focus on the guest experience and our commitment to offering strong support to owners throughout their ownership, delivery, and purchase experiences.”
Kingland Construction Services, Forest City, the builder of Lichtsinn’s 26,000-square-foot current location, will be the general contractor.
Ron Lichtsinn says that the doubling of Forest City’s footprint, both in terms of real estate surface and facilities built, provides the capacity for future and long-term growth for their guest list, “which is why we exist.”
