Starting September 13, the Bureau of Land Management Pocatello Field Office is going to install a boat ramp and docks at Maple Grove Campground.

The project is expected to be completed by September 24, a report said.

The Maple Grove is situated along the shoreline of the Oneida Narrows Reservoir in Franklin County, Idaho. New docks and a double-lane boat ramp will make Maple Grove a more popular spot.

Campsites 1 and 2 will not be accessible during the renovations for safety reasons.

The rest of the campground will be open, including campsites 3-12, and two vaulted toilets. Boats can still be launched at the day-use area by the dam.

Contact Chuck Patterson, BLM Outdoor Recreation Planner at (208) 478-6362, for more information.
