Campers won’t be able to stay overnight at Lake County, California’s Calso Campground for the rest of the season.
Officials from the Cal Fire Sonoma Lake-Napa unit announced Wednesday that the Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest (BMDSF) campground will be closed for the season as of October 27. This is because of predicted weather conditions.
Cal Fire also says roads within the forest could be closed in the event of hazardous, wet or muddy conditions in the near future.
BMDSF will remain open for day-use activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, the release added.
