The Bureau of Land Management offers a chance to be a host for Eagle Lake, California’s largest natural lake. It is located north of Susanville, Lassen County.

For the rest of the summer and autumn camping season, which runs from mid-November through mid-November, the host is required. The host will provide information to visitors and clean the campsites at North Eagle Lake Campground, which has 20 sites, and Rocky Point dispersed camping areas along Eagle Lakeshore, about 4 miles away.
