Flying Flags RV Resort in Avila Beach (California) provides a glamping opportunity with stunning ocean views and improved amenities.
The resort has completed the construction of new camping spaces for campers of all sorts.
The idea for this campground, initially named Harbor Terrace, has been developed over the last 42 years.
The Port San Luis Harbor District earlier explained that the site was renamed Flying Flags Avila Beach Port San Luis.
The 32-acre site has full RV hookups with sewage, water, coax cable Ethernet, and propane fire pits.
The site will offer cottages designed for two persons with queen-sized beds and living spaces, and for those who like camping, the resort will offer hike-in camping tents.
“I don’t think there’s anything quite like this in our area, so I think that’s why everyone’s been excited with just the view; I mean, waking up and looking directly at the ocean or going to sleep and hearing the sea lions and the otters out there,” said Lathan Ford, the Flying Flags Avila Beach General Manager.
“You can go paddleboard in the morning, surf in the morning; there’s not anything quite like that in our area.” Ford ended.
The Flying Flags RV Resort will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new location this Tuesday.
