The Planning and Zoning Commission will hear Monday night plans for an 11-acre RV and boat storage area.

The developers of the facility, which is proposed to be east of the southeast corner of White and Parker, and Cowtown roads have asked for review and approval of the landscape, photometric, elevation, and site plans. Eagle Shadow LLC requested the review and approval of the site, landscape, photometric, and elevation plans from RKAA Architects.

For security and screening from neighboring views, the facility would be enclosed with masonry walls. The driveway would lead to the facility from Cowtown Road. There would also be an exit driveway. Automated gates would control both entrances. Developers propose a main office measuring approximately 950 square feet. A wash/service bay measuring about 1,300 sq. feet and 8,600 square footage of fully enclosed vehicular storage are also included. There is also a mixture of 407 covered and uncovered RV parking stalls that vary in size.

Most of the site will be paved, except for the southernmost tip, where a gravel surface is available to provide more affordable parking stalls. The lighting will be distributed around the site according to municipal guidelines. Perimeter landscaping is also planned.
