Системы отопления Aqua-Hot has announced the retirement of Gary Miller, its longtime director of engineering, following 15 years with the company, while promoting Taylor Moats to engineering manager as part of a planned leadership transition aimed at maintaining continuity in its engineering operations.
According to the company, Miller will retire at the end of its fiscal year on July 31 after leading engineering initiatives that helped shape Aqua-Hot’s hydronic heating systems for the recreational vehicle industry.
The company said Miller has already assumed a “bridge-to-retirement role” to support the transition by mentoring the engineering team and providing strategic guidance before his departure.
The leadership change is intended to ensure continuity as Moats assumes responsibility for directing Aqua-Hot’s engineering operations, including overseeing team performance and project delivery.
“Gary has been instrumental in shaping Aqua-Hot’s engineering excellence and product innovation for OEM partners and RV owners worldwide,” Selma Salihagic, general manager of Aqua-Hot Heating Systems, said.
“We are deeply grateful for his dedication and leadership. As Gary transitions toward retirement, we celebrate his remarkable career and wish him the best in this next chapter,” Salihagic added.
The company said Miller’s “bridge-to-retirement” role is designed to preserve institutional knowledge while reinforcing the foundation of Aqua-Hot’s engineering organization.
During the transition period, he will continue mentoring employees and supporting strategic engineering efforts.
Moats steps into the engineering manager position after serving as Aqua-Hot’s sales and product integration supervisor. In his new role, he will oversee all engineering functions across the company.
According to Aqua-Hot, Moats brings technical expertise, experience developing engineering teams and a customer-focused approach that will support the company’s future engineering initiatives and product development efforts.
The company said the planned succession is intended to provide a transfer of leadership while maintaining support for original equipment manufacturer partners and RV customers.
