Tiger's Trail RV Resort in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has selected Horisont utendørs gjestfrihet to provide full-service management of the property, with the management agreement taking effect on June 1, 2026.
The resort, which opened in 2023, is located near Louisiana State University (LSU), downtown Baton Rouge, and several cultural and tourism attractions across South Louisiana. The property includes 220 RV sites and 10 cottages designed to accommodate a range of guests, including transient travelers, extended-stay visitors, organized groups, and RV rally participants.
According to the announcement, the management transition is intended to support the resort’s continued growth while focusing on guest experience, operational performance, and long-term asset management.
“We are excited to begin our management engagement with Tiger’s Trail RV Resort and support the continued growth of this exceptional destination,” said Scott Foos, Managing Partner at Horizon Outdoor Hospitality.
“Through the vision of its ownership group, Tiger’s Trail has quickly established itself as a premier RV resort serving visitors to Baton Rouge and travelers throughout Louisiana. Our focus will be on building upon that foundation through operational excellence, elevated hospitality, and strategic revenue and marketing initiatives that strengthen the resort’s market presence and support long-term success.”
Horizon Outdoor Hospitality manages campgrounds, RV resorts, glamping destinations, and boutique outdoor lodging properties across the United States.
The company stated that its management services include operations oversight, marketing, revenue strategy, systems management, and guest experience development. The agreement with Tiger’s Trail RV Resort also marks Horizon’s entry into the Louisiana market, expanding its management portfolio into another state.
Under Horizon’s management, the resort plans to focus on several operational areas, including guest services, revenue and distribution strategies, marketing efforts, and long-term operational systems. These initiatives are expected to target multiple customer segments, including leisure travelers, LSU visitors, RV enthusiasts, groups, and rally organizers.
For outdoor hospitality operators, the management agreement highlights a continuing trend within the industry in which property owners increasingly partner with specialized third-party management companies to support growth, improve operational efficiencies, and strengthen revenue performance.
As more RV resorts and outdoor lodging destinations mature following recent development activity, management partnerships are becoming an important strategy for owners seeking professional expertise while maintaining long-term investment objectives.
“Tiger’s Trail was developed with the vision of creating a destination-worthy RV resort that reflects the hospitality, culture, and energy of South Louisiana,” said Karen Solomon, co-owner, Tiger’s Trail RV Resort.
“As the resort continues to grow, we’re excited to work with Horizon Outdoor Hospitality to build upon that vision, expand our reach across key guest segments, and continue delivering exceptional experiences for every guest who visits the property.”
The management transition became effective on June 1, 2026, as Tiger’s Trail RV Resort enters its fourth year of operations since opening in 2023.
