Leirintäalue has launched a weeklong summer promotion offering discounts of up to 40% on campground stays across North America as travelers seek lower-cost alternatives to air travel and traditional vacations.
Ready, Set, Summer Sale runs from June 15 through June 21 and includes limited-time offers at participating campgrounds for RV sites, tent sites, cabins, vacation rentals and glamping accommodations.
The booking platform said the promotion is aimed at families, RV travelers, road trippers and first-time campers looking for drive-to vacations.
According to Campspot, average summer campground rates are $101 per night, with many properties offering amenities such as pools, waterparks, dog parks, restaurants, family activities and events.
Data from Campspot’s 2026 Dust-Off Summer Trend Report found that 79% of surveyed campers are reducing air travel this year, while 60 % said they are avoiding flights altogether when possible.
Higher travel costs were identified as the top factor affecting vacation decisions by 68% of respondents.
“Camping has always had this practical magic to it,” Jeff Bettin, general manager of marketplace at Campspot, said. “It gives families, road trippers, RVers, and first-time campers a way to make summer feel memorable without making travel feel overwhelming. Additional findings from the survey showed that 80% of campers have taken an RV or camping trip because it represented the “smartest vacation option” available. Meanwhile, 58% said they are more likely to take a drive-to getaway than they were a year ago, and 86% expressed interest in exploring more of the United States through road trips and nearby destinations in 2026.
Among the participating properties is Sun Outdoors Santa Barbara in Goleta, California, which is offering 30% off Sunday through Thursday stays on RV sites, tent sites and vacation rentals.
Cabana Bayn matkailuautokeskus in Placida, Florida; Pipestone RV Park in Whitehall, Montana; Pigeon Forge RV Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and Gold Panner Campground in Cherryville, British Columbia, are each offering discounts of up to 40% on select stays.
Campspot said deal availability, eligible stay dates and site types vary by property throughout the promotional period.
