England’s Shropshire, Mid Wales, and the surrounding areas are popular places to relax, which is why the Halls’ planning department is making sure certain criteria are in place to protect and conserve the beauty of the environment.
According to a report, the department of planning at Halls has obtained various planning permits to build camping pods. These include locations close to Bishop’s Castle in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Mid Wales.
According to Katie Shoosmith, a chartered planning consultant at Halls, they are currently working on Hobbit Home applications in Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Shoosmith said that guidelines for planning differ significantly between the different authorities. Most of the time, demand is highest in rural, easily-accessible areas.
These areas often have strict criteria to meet before obtaining a permit to preserve their beauty.
