According to a report, Mottram Hall Hotel applied to Cheshire East Council to get listed building consent for the glamping camps between May and September each year.
The proposed glamping accommodation will be located on the grounds to the east of the main hall. It will be spread over 660 square meters of floor space, the report said.
The Mottram St. Andrew hotel submitted a design and access statement along with its application. It stated: “There are three types of glamping accommodation together with a teepee, food & drink unit and a chill-out/pamper tent.
The document states that the approach was to create accommodation with enough space between units.
The report states that there would be no adverse effect on soft landscaping at the resort. It also adds that the units are all of high quality.
The Cheshire East website has the application number 21/3399M. Members of the public can view it and submit comments until September 9.
It will be determined by a planning officer with delegated authority, the report said.
