Local sources reported that a 70-year-old German tourist died in the hospital from injuries sustained during Saturday’s fight at a campsite near Venice.

According to sources, the man had been drinking excessively and started to bother other campers. One of them pushed him to the ground, causing him to fall to the ground. He then banged his head so hard that he was unconscious.

The incident occurred at the “Portobello“, a camping site in Ca’ Savio near Venice.

According to judicial sources, the decision to charge the man for pushing the German tourist is up to the prosecution.
