Planning permission for a motorhome, glamping, and camping park in north Donegal (Ireland) has been approved.

According to a report, Donegal County Council has given approval to the tourism project at Devlinmore, Carrigart.

The development features a stopover area for motorhomes with 20 designated motorhome plots, a glamping area featuring eight glamping pods, a building designed to accommodate showers, toilets, washing areas, changing facilities, and an area for camping.

Two objections were made against the development, raising concerns about the erosion of the public road due to traffic, the effect on pedestrians who use the roads in the area, and concerns over light and noise pollution.

The council approved the planning application with nine conditions.
