The Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC), the largest motoring organization in Europe, has included three Croatian campsites in its top ten European campgrounds.
Included on the list are Aminess Maravea Camping Resort from Novigrad, Camping Omisalj on Krk, and the Zaton Holiday Resort near Nin/Zadar, the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) announced on Monday.
ADAC published its latest list dedicated to camping on its website. Aminess Maravea and Omisalj were ranked third and fourth, and Zaton Holiday came in sixth.
Croatia came second in terms of the popularity of campsites with 26 campgrounds in the rankings, second to Germany with 53 campsites and ahead of Italy by 18 campsites.
ADAC is a significant strategic partner, and working together with them is the top priority for Croatia‘s future advantageous and secure standing in the German market.
The foundation for future collaboration is also in the Memorandum of Understanding, signed during the Croatian Tourism Days, making all ADAC marketing and sales channels accessible to all tourism organizations within Croatia as stated by HTZ’s Munich office head, Nera Milicic.
Milicic also stated that in more than 150 ADAC branches across Germany, sales representatives would soon receive training on Croatia‘s wide selection of products to ensure they are more prepared for booking trips on the German market.
The HTZ also carried the declaration of ADAC Director and President of the Department of Tourism Karlheinz Jungbeck, who underscored that Croatia was among the most sought-after destinations for foreigners and that Germany was the biggest market for Croatian tourism.
