According to a report, the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group is producing six additional variants of the HY4 hydraulic jack system for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter base vehicles that come with front or rear-wheel drive.

Included are two and three-axle AMC as well as SLC chassis, original MB frames, and panel vans. The HY4 jack system is available for most motorhome models built on the current Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

AL-KO has developed new fastening and assembly kits for the jack system to serve this reason. They have been designed under AL-KO test and development guidelines and then put to the test by Mercedes-Benz to ensure compatibility between components.

The AL-KO HY4 support system can effortlessly level motorhomes weighing up to six tons in just a minute. Another advantage of the HY4 is that it allows the vehicle to be more stable while a person is inside. If necessary, the system may be fitted with a weighing function.

AL-KO has also adapted the control to the guidelines to meet the requirements for safety devices used by Mercedes-Benz for electronics. This specific effort resulted in the HY4 as the only hydraulic support device on the market to be given a compatibility certificate by Mercedes-Benz.
