Winter Camping and More at Prince Albert National Park

If you’re looking for exciting and fun family activities, a chance to explore the great outdoors, or a winter escape in a peaceful, serene environment, Prince Albert National Park (Saskatchewan, Canada) is open for visitors all year round.

According to a report, the park is open to visitors who want to live a healthy and active winter life.

Prince Albert National Park‘s winter camping experience is different from any other. Cold, perhaps, but a true personal victory against the elements.

The park is home to two designated campgrounds, Birch Bay and Paignton Beach, which provide access to pit toilets, firewood, and an enclosed camp kitchen.

There are also designated backcountry campgrounds that you can explore.

Campers should register and pay for their camping fees through the Visitor Centre before an overnight excursion and get details on winter camping in general.

Reservations are strongly suggested, especially during the peak summer season and weekends.

Prince Albert National Park visitors can make reservations at Beaver Glen Campground or Red Deer Campground. The reservation window is between May 20 and October 9.

Meanwhile, Grasslands National Park visitors can make reservations for Frenchman Valley Campground, West Block backcountry camping, and Rock Creek Campground. The reservation period runs from May 1 to October 9.

Reserve your 2022 campsites starting February 4, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. CST, the local time zone in Saskatchewan, online at www.reservation.parkscanada.gc.ca or by calling 1-877-737-3783.
