British Columbia’s Elkford District Council wants your feedback regarding a bylaw that will implement some elements of the district’s downtown plans, a report said.
The bylaw permits the establishment of a campground on District-owned land within the city’s downtown region. It will also involve updating rules for temporary structures or buildings to permit pop-up shops and more.
A public hearing on the bylaw is scheduled for October 25 at council chambers. You can also take part in the discussion through Zoom.
The audience is limited to 16 people in the council chambers in order to comply with the COVID-19 protocol.
Residents are encouraged to send their feedback to the district before the deadline of noon on October 25.
