If you’re an RV park or campground owner from either North Carolina or South Carolina, the Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CARVC) is organizing an event for you. If you’re a supplier, you will want to save the date too.

A hands-on workshop, interactive sessions, and more are expected in an event for the Carolinas’ outdoor industry champion next year.

The Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds will be holding their conference in 2022. The three-day conference will happen at the Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach on February 3rd to 5th.

One of the speakers this year will be John Formica, an influential person in tourism, hospitality and service industries.

“We’ve made the sessions longer this year and a lot of them more interactive than just sitting there and listening to the speaker so we’re really looking forward to it,” said CARVC Executive Director Dee Witting in an interview with Modern Campground.

Joining this year will also be the state of Georgia. Witting shared that Georgia is working on getting an association together and will also be present at the event.

“Yeah so we’re going to have North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and the Campground Buyer’s Workshop so we feel that attendance should be really good this year,” she expressed.

The buyer’s workshop aims to help aspiring campground owners.

“The campground connection is going to be doing a buyer’s workshop. They get to take part in the trade show which is excellent because here’s the perspective: we’re going to be owners and they get to be the suppliers out there before they actually own so when they actually own their own campgrounds, they can refer to these people that they met”.

The online registration for the event will be next week, Witting shared.

Apart from shows and expos, CARVAC also strives to protect its members by dealing with legislative or regulatory threats to the camping and RV industry.
